This is the photo that made me decide to become a photographer! Until this day I was studying advertising, but this photo changed all that forever. Taken on the Border Track at Binna Burra, in the Gold Coast hinterland, I was lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time with my camera handy, and just enough skill to get this breathtaking shot. Over 20 years later, I still consider it one of the best rainforest photos I have ever seen (let alone taken myself), and it is naturally a sentimental favourite.
