This small but significant patch of old-growth rainforest was bequeathed to the area by one of the early residents. It is now home to remnant vegetation that may otherwise have been lost to the area, as well as rare birds, butterflies, and other wildlife. Only an hour from Brisbane (and just a few minute's drive from our gallery), Mary Cairncross park give visitors, young and old alike, a chance to reconnect with nature at close range.
