Wild Kangaroos often stay close to camping and picnic grounds, where they become accustomed to people. So while they can never be considered tame, it is possible in some cases to get some very 'up close and personal' shots. This photo, taken in the Warrumbungles National Park in New South wales, was on the morning after a massive thunderstorm (well, it seemed massive from inside our tent). In dry country, this kangaroo was happy to take the opportunity for an easy drink of water.
