One of the characters of the Australian bush, the crimson rosella is a familiar sight in many camping and picnic grounds from North Queensland to Southern Victoria. They can become quite accustomed to human attention, so many visitors have the joy of a personal encounter. This crimson rosella was photographed at O'Reilley's guest house at Lamington National Park, in Queensland's Gold Coast Hinterland.
