This is our second Thorny Devil shot on the website, and shows more detail of the lizard. This could be seen as an action shot, with the foot raised from the ground, but Thorny Devils move very slowly. It might be another ten seconds before that foot touched the ground. These amazing lizards only eat certain varieties of ants, and are surprisingly gentle and placid. It is a great experience to see one in the wild.
