Like their larger cousins the kangaroos, wallabies have adapted to a variety of habitats and come in different shapes and sizes depending on the environment they call home. This photo was taken by a road in the Bunya Mountains, where a sign read "CAUTION, WALLABIES CROSS HERE." I pulled over to try my luck, and this fellow popped his head up to pose for a couple of shots. He doesn't look so cross to me.
