This photo showcases one of the most picturesque waterfalls in Lamington National Park, just a short drive from Brisbane. Luckily earlier generations had the foresight to preserve this magnificent wilderness area so close to the capital city, as it is only by experiencing old growth rainforest first hand that we can truly appreciate this magnificent environment and habitat for our precious wildlife. Unfortunately due to changing rainfall patterns, this waterfall rarely runs so strongly these days.
