This remarkable sight was captured in the Warrumbungles National Park in New South Wales. The slightly dishevelled kangaroo was recovering from a huge thunderstorm the night before, and the wagtail was happily using him as a landing platform. It would fly out to catch an insect, then come back to land and wait for another. This unexpected pair seemed to get on just fine.
